Grande tormenta-8.8.2008. Belgrado y Serbia

Strong convective system with severe wind gusts up to 116 km/h hit most parts of Serbia.
One five year old child died in town of Vrsac when tree fell on him.In town of Prijepolje 30 minutes fell hail size of haselnut.Many roofs were blowed.In town of Smederevo fell roof from one factory,crashed 2 cars.Great waves on Danube river smashed one boat,two guys rescued from death.
Dust storm hit Belgrade,it was discasting.Severe wind gusts reached 101 km/h in Belgrade.Lot of fallen trees.

Bad news from Belgrade, Pavlovic :-[ ...........................................

Looking at the radar image you have attached, the storm structure seems to be a Bow Echo. Belgrade being affected by the northern part (anticyclonic storm updraft), and Cacak by the southern part (cyclonic). Surely Cacak was affected by more severe wind gusts and severe weather. Lot of cases of bow echos develop a cyclonic circulation supercell at the southern part.

It seems that the photographs was an intense storm that suspended dust reveals the formation of fronts streak with this strong wind brought by the storm, in Europe you have thunderstorms on a daily basis and Spain took a month and a half without seeing a drop of water.... :'(
Fascinating radar picture, possible mesocyclone embedded in that storm, I wish someday enjoy a storm accompanied by heavy wind and dusty included (:O*).

Heh Hailstorm,duststorms are very bad.My mouth was full of dust,my eyes,my apartment...
It was very stron storm system.Temperature fell from 35*C before storm to 22*C after storm.

Video of rescuing two boys from wild Danube river in town of Smederevo,and damages in that town from Serbian National Television.Wind and waves destroyed their boat.
